Sales Support Engineers
We are looking to recruit Sales Support Engineers to cover the Southern region. The successful candidate must come from an electrical/electrician background and will provide extensive in field installation support nationwide.
You will be required to manage VPhase open days at distributor’s premises. You will offer support to the VPhase sales team by means of direct on site and remote customer support and product training. You will provide advice and assistance to customers own installation resource.
The role will involve customer technical problem solving at or post installation. This will include direct customer contact in person and over the telephone. You will be required to manage your own day to day activities to ensure customer support requirements are met.
One of the major aspects of the job will be overseeing the testing and installation of devices into domestic and commercial premises; therefore the candidate must be familiar with the installation and management of electrical infrastructure. Training can be given.
Key Accountabilities |
- Providing remote telephone support for customer installation problems and queries:
- Providing advice on different consumer unit layout and configurations suitable for VPhase.
- Instructing on how test and inspection should be undertaken for VPhase installed properties.
- Understanding customer problems and providing step by step guidance on how to resolve any issues arising.
- Providing on-site advice and training for the installation of VPhase products:
- Holding class room / tool box talks to instruct qualified electricians on the operation and installation of VPhase.
- Hosting technical open sessions at VPhase and on-site customer locations.
- Handling general technical customer Q&A

Skills / Qualifications |
- Essential customer facing experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, at all levels.
- Up to date working knowledge of the 17th edition wiring regulations (training can be given).
- A working knowledge of electrical test and inspection requirements.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic with good organisational skills.
- Ability to achieve set targets and achieve objectives.
- Ability to evaluate and respond.
- Strong team player with high level of commitment.
- Prioritisation, planning and time management skills.
- Possessing attributes of honesty and integrity.
- Administration accuracy and timely completion.
